Welcome to the first journal entry. New beginnings are always exciting, but this one feels extra special. Maybe it’s the time we’re living in. Maybe it’s what we’re living through. Either way, I’m really glad you’re here.
The word grounding me this season is commitment. Commitment to values, stillness, care, and creative work. More than a word, it’s a practice—of noticing and choosing where my attention goes.
Today my attention is here, in this space. I’m thinking of it as planting a seed—something taking root, cultivated over time. A place for reflection, lived wisdom, and the kinds of conversations we don’t always have room for elsewhere.
